"We had the Terry Fox run in the morning and didn’t get back to the school till period 4. We had 1 block of Math and we did the Terry Fox Problem (Running Problem). After lunch we had Math for two periods. We did a problem on area and perimeter in our Math Journals and it is due tomorrow. Then we had a double block of Humanities. During Humanities we brainstormed what we need to put in a presentation to make it powerful, and ways make a presentation (powerpoint, comic, painting, skit, etc.)."

Today in Humanities we got Back our four pillars of democracy test result, we have to get our parents sign them and make corrections if needed. For homework we have to find 3 individuals or groups that interest you and create change. In math/science people that had not presented had done so and we went to the weasel head to adopted a tree and then played camouflage.

Humanities
Students are wrapping up the pillar project by assessing their group work and work habits for this assignment. Students also have the opportunity to create their own visuals to demonstrate their understanding of how their pillar impacts their life.
We wrote awesome descriptive paragraphs today about messy rooms using the Show Don't Tell method. Using our 5 senses, we created a picture with words about the most disgusting rooms ever! (6.3)
